Panama has three matches left to move into the coveted top three spots in the 2022 Concacaf World Cup qualifying standings and has an opportunity to make a final push starting with a match on Thursday against Honduras. Meanwhile, Honduras must find the motivation to push the Panamanians and play for pride since its chance to advance to the 2022 World Cup has passed. Through 11 final-round matches, Honduras has scored just five goals, but two of those came in their last meeting with Panama. You can see what happens when you stream all the action on Paramount+.
Thursday’s match is set to get underway at 9:05 p.m. ET. Caesars Sportsbook lists Panama as the -210 favorite (risk $210 to win $100) in the latest Honduras vs. Panama odds, while Honduras is the +625 underdog. A draw is priced at +275, and the over-under for total goals scored is 2.5. Thursday’s match will be streamed live on Paramount+ with their must-have Premium plan.

Concacaf World Cup qualifying picks for Honduras vs. Panama
Before you tune in to Thursday’s World Cup qualifiers, you need to see the Concacaf World Cup qualifiers picks from soccer insider Brandt Sutton. Sutton, a former collegiate soccer player, has been SportsLine’s top soccer editor for nearly five years. He has followed soccer closely for much longer and factors in managerial tactics, projected lineups and past performances to make the most-informed decisions possible, keeping his finger on the pulse of the game all over the globe.
Sutton has also been on a roll with his best bets, going 10-2 in his last 12 picks and returning nearly $700 for $100 bettors who have followed his soccer picks.
For Honduras vs. Panama, Sutton is betting under 2.5 goals will be scored at -150 odds. Even though the last match between the two teams finished with five total goals, the circumstances this time around are much different. Panama needs to play mistake-free soccer rather than press for goals. The Panamanian attack has had mixed results over its last four outings, but Honduras hasn’t scored a single goal in its last three games.
Perhaps the biggest threat in Panama’s offense is Cecilio Waterman, but his last international appearances came in November. Waterman scored one of the three Panamanian goals against Honduras in their reverse fixture, but more recently, fullback Erick Davis has been more involved in the attack and scored twice in Panama’s last five games. Altogether, there doesn’t seem to be much to support either side racking up many goals.
“The Panamanians know a victory will go a long way in helping them secure a spot in the top four,” Sutton told SportsLine. “Honduras has failed to score a goal in its last three fixtures. Panama, meanwhile, has been shutout in two of its last three matches, one of the main reasons I’m backing the Under on Thursday.”
