Philadelphia 76ers star guard Ben Simmons is currently going through a lot of drama at the moment as he is dealing with the results of his own holdout as he forces his way out via trade.
After the star guard has reappeared and cleared protocols, the plan is for him to show up and at least participate until the Sixers can fulfill his trade request. Coach Doc Rivers is not yet ready to give up on his star guard and the Sixers are ready to move forward with him on the roster on opening night.
To give Simmons some encouragement, franchise legend Allen Iverson took to Twitter to give the young guard a message. He wanted him to stay focused while also giving a shoutout to the Sixers fans who loved him so much.

The funny part is that Iverson actually tagged the wrong Ben Simmons. Simmons’ Twitter handle is actually “@bensimmons25” so while this is a strong message, he did tag the wrong Simmons. Hopefully, the real one does end up seeing Iverson’s message.
