The #14 Wisconsin Badgers and the Iowa State Cyclones are set to clash at 6:10 p.m. ET March 20 at Fiserv Forum in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Colgate Raiders typically have all the answers at home, but this past Friday Wisconsin proved too difficult a challenge. The Badgers were able to grind out a solid victory over Colgate, winning 67-60. Wisconsin’s guard Jonathan Davis looked sharp as he had 25 points along with eight boards.

Meanwhile, the LSU Tigers typically have all the answers at home, but this past Friday Iowa State proved too difficult a challenge. Iowa State secured a 59-54 W over the Tigers. Iowa State’s guard Tyrese Hunter was one of the most active players for the squad, shooting 7-for-11 from downtown and finishing with 23 points and five steals.

The Badgers are the favorite in this one, with an expected 4.5-point margin of victory. They have failed bettors playing the spread in their past three games, so buyers beware.

A couple numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: Wisconsin enters the contest with only 8.4 turnovers per game on average, good for second best in college basketball. But the Cyclones come into the game boasting the 13th most takeaways per game in college basketball at 16.7. We’ll see which of these strengths — offense or defense — will win out.
